Cynthia Balogh

Cynthia Balogh’s career began in the Australian Public Service in Canberra, Australia.

She was posted to Damascus, Syria, and Paris, France, as the First Secretary of the

Australian Embassy. Later she moved to London in the UK and after a period with

a leading global executive search firm, established her own executive search business.

Following the fall of the Berlin Wall the company specialised in the emerging markets

of Central and Eastern Europe.

This successful business expanded into human resource management consulting. In 1994,

an office was opened in Budapest, Hungary, which later grew to be the leading firm in the

market. Drawing on her extensive international experience, Cynthia established Chambers

Brook on her return to Australia to focus on services that encompass improvements in

operational effectiveness and human capital management.
